I have grandsons who enjoy a book with excitement and a fun storyline. But now my grandsons are getting older; they are finding chapter books have the potential to be something they will enjoy. So, when I had the opportunity to review a new line of chapter books about a boy who is a Private Eye . . . I had to say yes!

Favorite Features -

•  Kid PI's with a solid mystery will have young readers turning the pages to get to the end and discover the answers to the mystery.
• Children will be able to connect with the characters and their angst of growing up, getting along with others and finding surprise friends.
• Book 2 especially provides a wonderful opportunity to talk about choosing to help others, even if they are people who are not kind to you.

I'm very happy to have a new series of books for my grandsons to enjoy - and when they address the topics of friendship and helping others - even if they are not kind to you, it is even better! My grandsons will enjoy the Howard Wallace, P.I. books for sure.
