2017 Christmas Gift Review & Giveaway - November 9, 2017 - Cap'n Rex & His Clever Crew

I love giving books to the people I love as gifts for Christmas and birthdays - probably because my mom did this when I was growing up. So, when Sterling Children's Books invited me to review a fun new book about dinosaur pirates, I was very happy to say yes! After all, a book which combines dinosaurs and pirates has to be fun!

Favorite Features -

• It has a Megalodon in it - what could be better!
• Wonderful, colorful, fun illustrations
• Dictionary for fun piraty terms
• Encourages children to not give up, but to instead think of how to solve challenges

Sterling Children's Books says; "Meet Captain Rex and his band of buccaneers. These dinosaur pirates sail the seven seas in search of buried treasure, but whenever they hit an obstacle—like a giant shark or pea-soup fog—the crew members are quick to say they can’t overcome. Cap'n Rex & His Clever Crew is a fun book for children - especially if they are into dinos and fossils. I like how the "Clever Crew" has to use their minds to think and come up with clever solutions to their challenges.
