Last night my son brought the boys over and they had their Candy Cane hunt in the dark (6:30 pm is now dark) - with flashlights! The boys had so much fun! Then they came inside to warm up with homemade chicken noodle soup, homemade fresh-baked bread and hot cocoa with whipped cream and sprinkles on top (their aunt's idea!) We had such fun - and lots of happy faces! :-)I love doing special things like this with my grandsons, because I want them to build happy memories throughout their childhood - this is one which qualifies as a happy memory for sure!
