Special Book Giveaway on January 2, 2018 - Marigold & Daisy

I was recently invited to review a new book from Sterling Children's Books and today I'm happy to let you know about a great book for you to read to the children you love . . . Marigold & Daisy . . . especially if any new children are going to be arriving in your family in the coming year!

Marigold & Daisy
Author/Illustrator - Andrea Zuill
Publisher - Sterling Children's Books
Ages - 3+

Favorite Features -
  • Fun story - especially if you have any new children due to arrive in your family in the coming year!
  • With the major exception of the spider, I like the illustrations
  • The way Daisy "laughs" - this is my grandson's favorite part - and the part they love to read!
  • Great message about loving your younger siblings!
Sterling Children's Books says; "Everyone’s enchanted with Marigold’s new baby sister. Could it be . . . she has some sort of superpower? Kids will love this sibling story with a fun twistEven snails can feel jealous over a new baby! Although Marigold is excited to meet her new snail sister, Daisy, she quickly realizes Daisy must be an evil genius, capable of mesmerizing everyone. After all, their parents think everything Daisy does is cute—even pooping! Just when Marigold reaches her breaking point, she discovers Daisy’s amazing skills may come in handy after all."

My grandsons enjoy the story of Marigold & Daisy. They like how Daisy laughs and they think it is silly how everyone thinks everything Daisy does is so cute - everyone except for Marigold. They also like how the story ends - we have read this book a number of times since it arrived and I expect we will continue to do so.

I'm very happy to say, not only did Sterling Children's Books send me a copy of Marigold & Daisy to review, but they are making another available for me to give away (USA only)! If you are over the age of 18 and would like to enter this drawing for Marigold & Daisy which will be on January 2, 2018,  please comment below to share something how many siblings, children and grandchildren you have - I have one older sister, three younger brothers, a daughter, a son and three grandsons.

In addition if you have followed on Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab in the "Find us on Facebook" box ON THE BLOG or at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email you will receive one entry for each of these which you have done.
