Sterling Children's Books says; "'You are cordially invited to the BIGGEST, BESTEST, HATTIEST party of all time!' Come join the fun—but only if you have a hat. AND you know the entry rules. Unfortunately, there seems to be a surprising number of those, as a young boy discovers. Will he—and the cool collection of animals he befriends along the way—ever get in? Gloriously illustrated, the art contains loads of details which serve as clues to the satisfying surprise ending. Kids will read this thoroughly hilarious cumulative picture book again and again!"
You Must Bring a Hat! is a fun story which is told not just with words, but with the illustrations as well. Silly and surprising, it will not disappoint! I enjoyed watching my grandsons smile, then chuckle and finally out and out laugh as the story progressed and came to a conclusion! Even my oldest grandson enjoyed this story!
I am so happy to say, not only did Sterling Children's Books send me one copy of You Must Bring a Hat! for me to review, but they are making another available for me to give away (USA only). If you are over the age of 18 and would like to enter this drawing for one You Must Bring a Hat! which will be on January 30, 2018, please comment below to share about a favorite hat . . . for me it has to be the hats I make for my grandsons; I really liked their three eyed-big nosed-spotted alien hats and the hat I made them this year was fun - they look like they have grown beards and mustaches.
In addition if you have followed on Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab in the "Find us on Facebook" box ON THE BLOG or at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email you will receive one entry for each of these which you have done. Plus, if you "share" this post, you'll receive another entry (please let me know if you share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win one You Must Bring a Hat! and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away! Thank you for reading grandma's cookie jar and for sharing it with the people you know!
