As our grandchildren go through their lives, they will be faced with the choice to follow God's way, or not. While we are not able to make this choice for them, we are able to live on purpose and leave a godly example, offer counsel when asked and most importantly, we are able to pray for them. Never underestimate the power of prayer as God has promised to listen and answer our prayers - and He loves our grandchildren and wants them to make wise choices even more than we do.
Consider making this prayer from Jeremiah 6 your prayer for your grandchildren this week . . . "Dear God, thank You for giving us a clear path to follow, one where we will find rest for our souls. As my children and grandchildren go through today, please help them stop and look for Your way and then make the choice to follow it. As they walk in Your way, please help them experience Your rest.
