Yes, there are a lot of grandparents in the USA, which means there are a lot of us grandmas out there who are able to invest in the lives of our grandchildren! Do not think for one moment what you do and say does not matter; it does! Do not think it is not possible for you to make a difference in the lives of your grandchildren; you most certainly are able to do so!
God not only gave your grandchildren to you, but He gave you to them. Of all the grandmas in the world, God gave you to your grandchildren! He knew what He was doing. You are a gift from God to your grandchildren; hand down the faith! If you are new to being a grandma who hands down the faith, take baby steps; pray for them every day and throughout the day as they come to mind. If you are a prayer warrior already, think about a conversation you could have with them to share how God has been faithful to you; and encourage them with the truth about how God will be faithful to them as well!
These are just two ways to be a grandma who hands down the faith on purpose! You have the grandchildren you have for a reason; and they have you for a reason as well! Hand down the faith!
