Make your own list of at least ten things for which you are thankful - challenge your grandchildren to do the same and compare lists. You may also want to do something with your grandchildren to show your thanks to the people in your life who bring joy to you and who brighten your day. Check these ideas I found on Pinterest . . .
- 41 ways to say "Thank You" with candy - I especially like - giving Starburst with a note which says; "You're a Star. I'm so thankful I could Burst!", Reeses PB cup - "For want of a Butter word - thanks!", Werther's Originals - "I don't know Werther I've said it enough, but thanks!" And one of my own - M&M's - "You're Magnificent and Marvelous - thank you!"
- 25 Creative & Unique Thank You Gifts - I particularly like the donut with a tag which says; "I donut know what I'd do without you!"
These are just a couple ideas to get you started thinking when it comes to saying "thank you" on this day to be thankful!
