2018 Christmas Gift Review & Giveaway - Douglas, You're a Genius!

My grandsons love dogs (in particular Huskies). They also love funny stories. If a book is successfully able to combine the two, I know it is a book they will love - whether the dog is a Husky or not. 

I was recently invited by Random House Children's Books to review a new release which does this, and does it extremely well! Today I am very happy to share with you my review of, Douglas, You're a Genius!.

Favorite Features -

• This story is so much fun!
• Love the illustrations - full of fun details which add to the story.
• So glad for the Spanish Glossary at the beginning of the story.
• Encourages conversations about making new friends, learning about different cultures and being a creative thinker.

Random House Children's Books says; "Laugh along with a dog named Douglas and his pal Nancy in this silly follow-up to Douglas, You Need Glasses! as the friends execute outrageous plans to meet their neighbors. Pals Nancy and Douglas think their baseball game is over after their ball rolls through a hole in the fence. I thoroughly enjoyed Douglas, You're a Genius! I love the story, illustrations and humor, but most importantly, the message. In a time when we do not get to know our neighbors, this book encourages children to not let "walls" - no matter how tall - keep us apart.
