Red Heart Yarn Review

Yesterday I shared with you my review of several of Red Heart's new yarns - and announced how they will be in the box of yarn I give away this year. (You will find all the info at this link.)

Today I have three more yarns to let you know about - starting with RED HEART Hygge Charm Yarn. Red Heart says; "Light as air brushed yarn with added strand of matching metallic make this yarn extra special. Gorgeous pastel and jeweled shades are perfect for fashion and accessories and to show off your stitch definition." I have to say, this yarn is absolutely lovely! It is soft to touch and with a little bit of "sparkle" for fun - certain to make a lovely scarf. Available in 16 beautiful shades - you can not go wrong with this yarn!

The second yarn in my review today is the Red Heart Hygge yarn and I have to say it is one of the softest yarns I've ever touched! Red Heart says; "What is Hygge? The Danish concept of coziness, comfort and warm relationships. Hygge evokes feelings of well-being and contentment. Hygge is an extremely cozy, soft size five bulky weight acrylic yarn which is twisted with a short fur end. The result is a lovely textured effect you will find wonderful to work with, and is perfect for fashion, accessories and home. Extremely soft and drapey, despite its quick-to-stitch bulky size. With 20 beautiful muted colors it is a perfect home décor or apparel yarn with which to cozy up!" Once you make something with Hygge yarn, you will absolutely want to use it again as it is so beautiful and soft!

Since I have ancestors from England and Scotland, I find the third yarn fun - Red Heart Super Saver Fair Isle Yarn. Red Heart says; "The same super saver you love now comes in new and exciting prints. New Fair Isle prints magically appear as you stitch - no need to change colors, one skein does it all! perfect for sweaters, throws and accessories." I can not wait to see what this yarn looks like when I crochet with it - and I love the idea of not having to change colors as I crochet!

If you are making plans to crochet or knit gifts for the people on your Christmas gift list, definitely check out these yarns - they are beautiful and you are sure to be happy with the items you make using them.

I thought I'd share with you one thing I do when I crochet gifts for others - I pray for the person to whom I'm giving the item I'm making. I love how crocheting gives me time to pray for the person and then picture them "wrapped" in the item I give them and in my prayers for them as well! Makes a wonderful gift even better!
