Favorite Features -
- All have the quality I expect from Red Heart
- The Amigurumi yarn has enough yarn for two projects - and the instructions for making fun items
- The Sweet Home and Italian Story Ora yarns are SO soft and the colors are rich and beautiful - anything you make from these you will love for sure
Red Heart says; "Amigurumi yarn is a wheel of fun! Each four-color wheel makes the two characters pictured on the band or put your creative hat on and make a different character. All patterns and colors are interchangeable! The 12 unique character designs are so adorable, you’ll want to stitch them all.
Plush and comfy, Sweet Home, is a chenille-style yarn which is made for cozy home décor and more. The super-bulky weight is easy to stitch, allowing your projects to work up quickly. Our color palette includes relaxed neutrals and fun pops which are able to stand alone or be mixed together.
Who can resist a thick beautiful roving type yarn which is perfect for apparel as well as home decoration? This gorgeous wool blend comes in an array of mixable solids. You'll just have to make something in every color!"
I find the Amigurumi yarn to be so much fun! The colors are bright and the patterns are fun - definitely a yarn for a grandma to try. This is also an excellent choice for when you want to help your grandchildren learn to crochet! Definitely check Amigurumi out!
Sweet Home and Italian Story Ora Wool Blend Yarn are amazing! I do not know yet what I am going to make out of them, but the colors are deep and rich and the yarn is so soft - I expect them to be fun to work with and am quite sure I will love the finished projects! If you are looking for a very soft yarn, you will want to look at both of these. These new yarns from Red Heart absolutely put a lot of fun into yarn.

ReplyDeleteI've been planning on teaching my daughter to knit scarves this summer to be ready for winter. I'd probably let her make a scarf with this beautiful yarn when she starts to get comfortable with knitting..

ReplyDeleteHowever if I got a Amigurmi Kit like the one pictured at the top of this post I'd probably make an Angry Bird for my son. The picture makes me think of the character.
