Book Review - The Grinny, Granny Donkey

As I mentioned last week, Scholastic sent me some of their new books. Today I am very happy to let you know about another of these books - The Grinny, Granny Donkey.

The Grinny, Granny Donkey

Author - Craig Smith

Illustrator - Katz Cowley

Publisher - Scholastic

Ages - 3-6

Favorite Features -

  • Colorful illustrations
  • Fun story with lots of repetition
  • Encourages hugs!
Scholastic says; "There was a sweet donkey who lived on the heath.
She was so funny with her false teeth...Hee Haw!

Another sequel to the laugh-out-loud viral sensation, The Wonky Donkey, is here! This time, readers will meet Dinky Donkey's grandma: a grinny granky plunky-plinky swanky clinky-clanky zonky dunky-drinky clunky donkey!
Brought to life by Craig Smith's signature playful verses and Katz Cowley's charming illustrations, The Grinny Granny Donkey is just as much fun as her offspring."

Little ones will enjoy this book - and of course if read to them by their own "grinny, granny", there should definitely be times for hugs!
