Book Review & Giveaway - Clever Cub

A couple days ago I received a package in the mail with four new books from author Bob Hartman. So, today I am happy to let you know about them - and announce a giveaway as well!

Clever Cub                    Author Bob Hartman    Illustrated by Steve Brown                            Publisher - David C. Cook                                                                                    Ages - 3-6

Favorite Features -

  • Fun, colorful, detailed illustrations - and each book has a fun "find me" on each page as well
  • When complete there will be sixteen books in the series
  • First four books - Clever Cub Welcomes Baby Jesus, Clever Cub Explores God's Creation, Clever Cub Sings to God, Clever Cub Gives Thanks to God
  • Each book is a "conversation" between Clever Cub and his mom
  • Each book ends with, "For Clever Readers" and has questions to think and talk about as a family
  • Check this link and you will find free coloring pages, videos, and more
David C. Cook says; "Clever Cub is a curious little bear who LOVES to cuddle up with the Bible and learn about God."

I think young children will enjoy these books - they will like Clever Cub and as they listen, they will learn much about who God is and what God has done.

I am happy to announce a giveaway - on September 20, 2021 (USA only)! If you live in the USA, are over the age of 18, and want to enter the giveaway for the Clever Cub books, please comment below to let me know who you will give the books to if you win them.

In addition, you will receive additional entries if you have followed on Google+, Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab at this link (not just liking the post), and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email. For each of these which you have done you will receive one entry. In addition, if you "share" this post, you'll receive an additional entry (please let me know if you share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win the Clever Cub books.
