Of course the Lena Meijer Tropical Conservatory is one of my favorite places at the Garden - the plants are beautiful, what's not to love about the waterfall, and this beautiful setting is the perfect place to get a new family photo!
While it was too cold for me to go outside, my family went and visited some of the outdoor displays - the grandsons enjoyed the Lena Meijer Children's Garden - especially the Treehouse Village and Log Cabin.
I think a warm Spring day would be the perfect time for another family visit - the Butterflies will be "Blooming" (real butterflies fill the Tropical Conservatory in the Spring) and a walk to the Richard & Helen DeVos Japanese Garden would be absolutely delightful!
Whether you give tickets for one wonderful visit to Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, or give a year-long family pass, this is a gift like no other - one which will engage your family in meaningful activity, learning about our world, developing an appreciation for nature and art, and creating memories which become part of your family's "story" (remember the time we went to Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park and saw all the Christmas trees?!), this is a gift which will be loved by all who receive it. You will find all the details about giving tickets or a membership at this link - a gift which lasts for a year - and beyond! What could be better? Be sure to bring your camera!
