crafting with grandma - Melted Snowman Ornaments!

Over the years I've involved my grandsons in making several snowman ornaments - my favorite is the melted snowman ornament. It is a fun, simple ornament which you could involve your grandchildren in making - they could give them to teachers, coaches, neighbors . . . to anyone for whom they need to have a nice, little gift!

I've written about this ornament before, but in case you didn't see it then, I'll share the details again today. You just need - clear ornaments, white glitter, tiny black pompoms, and orange felt cut into triangles. My grandsons had so much fun helping to pour the glitter into the ornaments and then adding the pompom eyes and felt nose to each ornament! The finished projects turned out very cute!

I had them trace their hands onto paper lunchbags and add some Christmas stickers to it and we had personalized gift bags for their ornaments which they then gave to their teachers at church and school!

So, if you are looking for something which is simple to make and results in a great gift, consider making melted snowmen ornaments - even your young grandchildren can do this one!

Enjoy!
