Create-your-own Chicken-add-in Soup

My grandsons enjoy chicken noodle soup, so I'm thinking about making it next weekend when they are at my house, but after thinking how different grandsons enjoyed their soup in different ways, I may fix it in a way which will add a touch of fun - Create-your-own Chicken-add-in Soup! It is very simple - just use broth and noodles - with some herb de provence - to make a basic noodle soup. Then I fix chicken, sauté mushrooms, onions, carrots, set out more spices, and let everyone create their own chicken noodle soup by adding the things they want in their own bowls!

This is a fun way to create their own soup - which of course will make it significantly more tasty. It is not really much more work for the cook and watching the ones you love enjoy it will make it worth it. Make a simple soup more fun!
