One of our Grandmas with Heart - Sherry Schumann - shared with me a fun idea for handing down confident faith with our grandchildren, so today I'm delighted to share it with you.
Question: What do you do with the boxes, which Amazon or other stores, use to ship your Christmas orders to your home?
Answer: You talk with your grandchildren about the town of Bethlehem and what it looked like when Jesus was born. Then, you let their imaginations go wild, as they build the town out of boxes.
Make sure they build an inn, which didn’t have room for Mary and Joseph, plus the stable and manger. All you need, besides the boxes, are scissors, markers and duct tape.
Enjoy!
(Sherrie did this project with her granddaughters and said it was fun.)
