Being an Intentional Grandma

I love my grandsons! I love to spend time with them, I love to do special things with them and I love to give them surprises from time to time. I take seriously my "job" as grandma!

Along with all the "fun" parts of this "job", I also know it is important; extremely important, for me to take seriously my responsibility to pass on a heritage of confident faith. I am always looking for opportunities to connect what we are doing with God's Word and how very, very much Jesus loves these three, sweet boys!

I want to be intentional about passing on a heritage of confident faith to my grandsons and one way I'm going to do this in the coming year is to help them learn to be boys who talk with God. We are using their book -
Praying Deeper Through the Psalms - Children's Edition  and I'm going to get them notebooks so they can write their prayer requests; and how God answers! We will have scripture prayers which we will focus on this coming year as well. I want my grandsons to be people who really talk with God, so as their grandma, I will try to help them learn how to do exactly this!
