grandma's chuckles - "Sisters Would Probably Be More Annoying!"

A few years ago my grandsons and I were talking about how God knew what He was doing when He created them to be boys. I told them I was so glad God made them to be boys (if they were girls, I would have said I was so glad God created them to be girls!) and then I told them God knew they needed brothers to be the best and have the most joy they could have!

Josiah (seven years old at the time) looked thoughtful and then he said; "I guess God knew sisters would probably be more annoying than brothers." To which Caleb (four years old at the time) said; "Sisters would definitely be way more annoying than I would ever be!!!" Josiah looked a bit skeptical - could sisters really be more annoying than his four year old brother???

They make me laugh, but I want them to know several important things - first, God did know what He was doing when He created them to be boys. In this world this is a message our grandchildren need to hear. They also need to hear we are so thankful and happy God made them the boys - or girls - they are! 

These are messages my grandsons hear - and will continue to hear from this grandma!
