Beat the Heat with Water Fun

Where I live in Michigan it is supposed to be in the 90's next week. Depending on where you live this may or may not seem very hot, but when you add in the humidity which will accompany the high  temperatures, our heat index (or humisery index) is expected to top 110 degrees. Sounds like uncomfortable days ahead for sure.

So, since the grandsons are coming over, it seems like a great time for water fun . . . sprinkler, water-balloon piñata, water-balloon toss and, of course, water gun wars! Being wet seems like the best way to spend the day on a hot day for sure!

Part of handing down confident faith involves taking time to have fun - yes fun! I want my grandsons to have memories of the fun things they did at our house when they were boys and water fun on a hot day is a great way to build memories and have fun without a doubt.
