crafting with grandma - Sharpie Coasters

While I firmly believe every day you spend with a grandchild is a grandparent's day filled with the best "gift" of all, September 11, 2022 is the "official" date for Grandparent's Day this year. Since I know many of my readers are moms and dads, I thought it would be fun to share ideas of fun projects you might have your children work on so they can give them to their grandparents on Grandparent's Day. As I looked for these ideas, I found a fun one on Pinterest for Sharpie Coasters!

Just follow this link and you'll find a list of simple supplies and directions - your children will have so much fun designing colorful coasters with which they can surprise and delight their grandparents! While you are helping them with their coasters, take a pencil and trace around their hand on the back side - then trace around the hand with another Sharpie - this will add a personal "touch" which grandparents will treasure! (Have your children sign and date their art work, too!) Enjoy!
