My grandsons return to school in just a couple weeks. Over the summer the boys have been at my house several days a week - I have so enjoyed this time with them!
We have celebrated birthdays, enjoyed playing chess (the boys typically beat me), and have been able to talk together about some important things. We are planning a day of fun together before school begins as I am a firm believer in the value of building memories.
Time is doing what it does - it is moving along. My grandsons are getting older - as am I. It matters what I do with my grandsons - I want them to be able to remember the most important things when they think about me, so I have to be intentional about the things I say and do while I am still with them. My legacy to them will be giving them the "whys" - why they are able to believe God is real and trust Him with confidence. The best legacy ever.
