World Gratitude Day

In two days it will be a day for the world to pause and think about the many things for which we have to be thankful. Today is a good day to stop and take account of the many blessings in our lives, to express our thanks to God and to others, and plan to celebrate on Wednesday.

Make your own list of at least ten things for which you are thankful - challenge your grandchildren to do the same and compare lists. You may also want to do something with your grandchildren to show your thanks to the people in your life who bring joy to you and who brighten your day. Check these ideas I found on Pinterest . . .

• 25 Creative & Unique Thank You Gifts - I particularly like the donut with a tag which says; "I donut know what I'd do without you!"
