Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, but we are celebrating early this year as my son and his family are going to my daughter-in-law's family for Thanksgiving this year. We are having early Thanksgiving at their home - Jackie is fixing some delicious ham and veggies, I'm bringing cheesy potatoes, rolls, and corn, and others are bringing the rest of the meal. It will be a wonderful time together for sure! (Have you decided on your menu yet?)
At any rate, as I browsed on Pinterest this morning, I found a great idea for a craft which will help families think about what they are thankful for - a Thanksgiving, Thankful Turkey Book (you'll find all the simple directions at this link).
I think this would be a fun craft to make each year and then refer back to it throughout the year to remind ourselves of the many blessings God has given for which we can be thankful!
Do you have any special plans/traditions for helping your family focus on being thankful at Thanksgiving?
