grandma's cookbook - Christmas Tree Brownies!

If you are looking for a fun, yet simple, idea for a Christmas dessert which your  grandchildren could help you make, then look no further . . . just look at these adorable "trees" made from brownies which I found on Pinterest!

The link was tagged by Pinterest as possibly, "spammy", so I won't put the link here - but it looks real simple: simply cut your brownies into triangles instead of squares then allow your grandchildren to "decorate" the "trees", using a piece of a candy cane for the "trunk"! So simple and so fun!

I think you could follow this same idea and use square brownies and then decorate as "gifts"! Or, you could use a small star cookie cutter to cut "stars" and/or snowmen cutters to make "snowpeople" and decorate them as well! A whole platter of decorated "trees", "gifts", "stars" and "snowpeople" would make wonderful gifts to give neighbors, family and friends . . . and it is an idea your grandchildren could definitely help with!
