crafting with grandma - Woven Stars!

I used to put a lovely angel on the top of my tree, but it is definitely a "girl" and angels are boys, so a few years ago I got a star which lights up for the top of my tree. 

I have thought about making a star - I like the twig star idea I shared about a month ago (you'll find it at this link), and when I was browsing on Pinterest, I saw a star made from paper strips which you weave together . . . it has definite possibilities!

Follow this link for complete directions and a photo tutorial . . . it looks pretty easy and I love the idea of using glittery, gold cardstock to make this star!
