crafting with grandma - Mother's Day Gifts!

Mother's Day is just over a week away, so if you are starting to think of things you could help your grandchildren make for their mother, check this wonderful site I found on Pinterest for 51 excellent ideas!

Follow this link and you'll find free printables and dozens of ideas which use simple items you can find around your house or on a nature walk . . . or buy at the store for just a little!

I especially love the "Reasons I Love Mom" jar as it gets children to stop and think about all the many reasons they love their mom and it gives mom something she can see and be reminded of how much she is loved - especially nice on a day when she is exhausted from taking care of little ones . . . or only gets "grunts" from her teens!

I also love the "Words of Love" photo frame . . . this idea is so wonderful! If your grandchildren are young, I think hands could be traced or they could draw hearts or happy faces, or whatever they want to give it their own special "touch" of "love"!

While I could list several more of these ideas which bring smiles to my face, I'll just share one more: "Handprint Doormat" - Footprints could be really fun to add, too!

So what do you think? Which ideas do you like the most? Enjoy!
