Another Square for Your Afghan . . . Spikes Square . . . And I'm Giving Away Some Yarn!

Classic Elite Wool Bam Boo Sachet 1605 YarnIf you are working on the afghan with your grandchildren, here's another square pattern for you today! Plus I want to let you know I'm giving away some yarn! I'm currently making this afghan for my soon-to-make-his-arrival grandson and I'm using some wonderful cotton-bamboo and wool-bamboo yarns from Classic Elite Yarns. I love the colors, the softness and the drape of these yarns and highly recommend them for your crochet and knit projects! They sent me some yarn for review and some to give away - if you have "liked" grandma's cookie jar using the tab in the "find us on facebook" box ON THE BLOG, then you are entered in my drawing! If you have not "liked" this blog yet, take a moment to do so and you will be entered in my drawing! It is this simple! I'll draw a name on July 14th for the yarn.

Once again as you spend time crocheting with your grandchildren, take advantage of the opportunity it provides for you to talk with your grandchildren about the things which are happening in their lives. Encourage them to begin the habit of praying for the people they make things for as they crochet. Be sure to pray for them, too!
