I'm Giving Away Carlito C. Caterpillar's Math House Games!

As grandmothers we don't need experts to tell us young children are most open to learning when they play as we saw this with our children and watch all over again as our grandchildren learn by playing! We also know how important it is for our grandchildren to learn and understand math for them to be able to excel later in their lives, so I'm delighted to share with you Carlito C. Caterpillar's Math House Games!

"Carlito the Catepillar's Math House Games is based on a 20 step sensory math teaching system, which teaches children math in a fun way! They have created activities and games for parents to play with their children which are presented in 3 stages, with a total of 20 steps and 2 games in each step covering quantity, numeration, and operations. This system utilizes the natural way children learn to teach them math skills."  The set contains

  • 30 double-sided, full color, illustrated Game Cards
  • Related editorial information explaining to parents The What, Why and How of Each Step
  • Each 8" x 4" loose leaf card is printed on heavy card stock, lacquered to help protect from spills and ring bound to keep together and facilitate play
  • info on the Myths and Realities of Early Mathematical Learning - very interesting!
  • clear instructions/guidelines for using these cards
  • free downloadable resources and certificates you can print from their website
  • questions for parents to choose & reflect upon
I especially appreciate how these cards involve children and their parents - or grandparents - in working together to help the children learn math by playing games! What a great way to create and develop an interest in math! I'm delighted for the opportunity to share these cards with you and am happy to say I have an additional set to give away!
