grandma's picks - I'm Giving Away the Christmas Lodge DVD!

Do you enjoy stories which point to faith and emphasize family? If so, you will enjoy the Christmas Lodge which "is a heartwarming family drama brought to you by renowned artist Thomas Kincade. This movie follows the story of Mary who works to fulfill her grandfather's wish of reuniting their family for one last Christmas at the Christmas Lodge."

Christmas Lodge

This story has likable characters and while the story is predictable, it is as the package says, a heartwarming family movie! If you watch this with your family, be sure to talk with your grandchildren about the choices people in the story made . . . for example, the young daughter lied to her dad. Talk with them about their family history and share old photographs with them. Tell them stories about your parents, siblings and grandparents. Talk about your family's heritage of faith and how God has answered some of your prayers.

I was sent a copy of this movie to review and I'm happy to say, another is available for me to give away! If you have "liked" grandma's cookie jar using the tab in the "find us on facebook" box ON THE BLOG, then you are entered in this drawing which will be on November 4th. If you have not "liked" this blog yet, please take a moment to do so and you will be entered in the drawing! It is this simple! Thank you for reading grandma's cookie jar! Please share with the people you know!

  1. Movies like the Christmas Lodge are so heartfelt and absolutely adorable during the holidays. Truthfully, they can transport Californians, like myself, to those cold and blustery places where winters are the "real thing." Nice give a way. This is an interesting blog that I happened upon purely by mistake. Thanks for the good reads.
