crafting with grandma . . . Let's make a Sock Monkey Hat . . . and I'm Giving More Yarn Away!

Yes, Christmas is just around the corner . . . so, since I have lots of yarn and a crochet hook, it seems to make sense for me to crochet some hats and scarves to give as gifts! So far I've shared the pattern for a dinosaur hat and some cute bucket hats . . . today I'm sharing the pattern for a sock monkey hat! I found this pattern on the blog, Neanners Shop. Since I didn't have to do much to modify this pattern, I'm including the link to the site where I found the pattern so you can make your own sock monkey hats. I added a heart . . . I always add a heart to nearly everything I make especially if I'm making something for children! Check this pattern out and picture the little ones in your life walking around in their sock monkey hats this winter, then grab a crochet hook, some yarn and get busy making hats! This pattern is really very simple and quick!

Just as with my other hat patterns, I'm giving away enough yarn to one person to make one hat! If you have "liked" grandma's cookie jar, using the tab in the "find us on facebook" box ON THE BLOG, then you are entered in my drawing, which will be on November 24th. If you have not "liked" this blog yet, please take a moment to do so and you will be in the drawing! It is this simple! Please make it easier for me to contact you if you win any of my drawings by taking a moment to "follow GCJ by email" - you'll find the place to enter your email just under the "find us on facebook" box ON THE BLOG. Thank you for reading grandma's cookie jar . . . please share it with the people you know!
