I am blessed to have the opportunity to review lots and lots of books for everyone in the family . . . many of which are wonderful, truly creative and enjoyable books, but every so once in a while I find a book which is an absolute delight - one which is sure to find a place on my all-time-favorite-children's-books list. A Dog is a Dog is one such book! I completely love this book! It is clever, fun and unexpected . . . the ending is a "hoot"! It is not stretching too far - or even stretching at all - to say this book is an absolute delight! I love the illustrations - they are so fun - and I love the story . . . what a creative and engaging story . . . children and adults alike will be guessing which animal comes next! Most certainly get this book for your grandchildren! It is tremendous!
