  • Strong messages about friendship - helping others, being loyal and putting other's needs first
  • beautiful songs, fun story and traditional Winnie the Pooh animation - love the words on the pages!

What isn't there to love about Winnie the Pooh, and this new movie is one to most certainly love! This story is a delight! I loved the mix of old, familiar songs with new songs! Eeyore was at his gloomy best and Pooh, dear, sweet, Pooh put helping his friend Eeyore find a new tail . . . and oh, the "tails" they do try - poor Eeyore! . . . above eating honey! Hooray for Pooh! Be sure to watch to the end of the credits for a special look at the Backson! And, you'll be delighted to know, "No stuffed animals were harmed in the making of this movie!"

As you enjoy this movie with your young grandchildren, talk with them about how everyone tried to help Eeyore find a new tail and how all the friends put their fear aside to look for and "rescue" Christopher Robin. Be sure to point out how even though Pooh's tummy was hungry and rumbly, he went to help his friend Eeyore rather than stop to eat honey! Ask them what they can do to help someone they know and then help them do it! Enjoy! This movie is an absolute delight!
