A Few Of My Favorite Things . . .

All year long I review lots of things . . . books, movies, toys, music, appliances and other things as well, so I thought it might be fun to share some of my favorite things in case any of you are looking for ideas as you do your Christmas shopping. So, here are my first two "favorite things" . . .
My Favorite Things - Appliances . . .
  • Cuisinart Single Serve Brewing System - okay, this isn't the most inexpensive item on my "favorite things" list, but it is one of my favorites! This machine uses K-cups to brew a perfect cup of coffee, tea or cocoa - one cup at a time. I love the convenience and the variety this allows - if you want a cup of decaf and someone else whats caffeinated, just select the appropriate K-cup and in a minute you have coffee! The best thing about this machine is the "My K-cup reusable coffee filter" which allows you to use any coffee you like to make your own "k-cup"!!!! This allows you to have a very affordable cup of coffee! Very easy to use and it makes a truly wonderful cup of coffee! Definitely one of my favorite things!
My Favorite Things - Games . . .
  • Perplexus - you may not have heard of this game yet, but I can assure you, it is a game nearly everyone in your family will not be able to put down! (Keep tuned, too, I will be giving one away soon!) Perplexus comes in three sizes - and difficulty levels . . . the Rookie, Original and Epic and they truly are a, "bendy, twisty, can't-put-it-down challenge!" As they say, "PERPLEXUS is a maze game where players maneuver a small marble around challenging barriers inside a transparent sphere. Unlike traditional flat-surface mazes which are composed of one path, PERPLEXUS houses various challenging tracks with 100 barriers providing a frustrating three-dimensional experience. Players select the track they would like to attempt and must work with gravity to carefully shift, flip, and twist the sphere to guide the marble. Players can race each other or the clock." Believe me, it is frustratingly fun!
I'll share more of my "favorite things" tomorrow!
