Some Valentine's Day Gift Ideas . . .

If you are looking for a Valentine's Day gift for someone special . . . consider the following . . .
Signals has a catalog filled with unique and fun items . . . they sent me a few to review for possible Valentine's Day gifts . . .
    Heart Of Gold Cuff Bracelet
  • Heart of Gold cuff bracelet . . . on the outside, for all to see: a gold enamel heart. On the inside, a private message: "Heart of Gold." If you know someone who is sweet, giving and kind, then this could be the perfect gift for them! Simple, yet lovely this bracelet is crafted by hand from recycled lead-free pewter by jewelry designers Howard and Whitney Schwartz, made in USA.
Japanese Wind Bells
  • Japanese Wind Bells . . . pull the string to hear them ring. Little creatures are cast iron, nicely finished and detailed. Sizes range from 2" to 3½". Each comes ready to hang-alone or in an enchanting group. Signals sent me the turtle which I think is quite adorable! I'm looking forward to the weather getting nicer so I can hang it outside! Made in Japan.
  • Crystal Rainbow Maker
  • Crystal Rainbow Maker . . . fill any room with dancing rainbows. Simply hang this cluster of Austrian crystals in a sunlit window (or in front of a light) and tap it gently with your finger. 3½" of crystals on a tin-plated steel chain with S-hook; overall length 10". Made in the UK. From Woodstock Chimes. This would make a lovely gift for a young girl and if hung in front of her bedroom window, could fill her room with color on a sunny day!
Godiva Chocolates - well, chocolates are a pretty traditional gift for Valentine's Day . . . for good reason, and Godiva does have enjoyable chocolate! They sent me a few of their chocolates to review . . .
  • Valentine's Day Ballotin . . . this is a GODIVA classic, a signature gold 19 pc. Valentine’s Day Ballotin filled with their Chef’s showcase of extraordinary Belgian chocolates. You'll find a variety of milk, dark and white chocolates with legendary Belgian fillings including sinful pralinés, buttery caramels, rich ganaches and delightful fruits and nuts. Each irresistible selection presented in their signature gold ballotin trimmed with a red satin ribbon and rose. The chocolates with the ganache fillings are beyond enjoyable!
  • Valentine's Day Heart Gift Box . . . a romantic keepsake for those you adore as this heart is filled with 15 pc. of chocolate delight! A Valentine's Day Floral Heart Gift Box is pretty in pink, decorated with watercolor flowers, scripted with messages of love and filled with the pure chocolate bliss of their Chef’s hand-picked selection from legendary Belgian classics to seasonal Milk Chocolate Mousse and White Chocolate, Passion Fruit truffles. The Chocolate Mousse is a treat to be savored!
  • Milk Chocolate Heart Lollipop . . . so good. Such fun. Their solid Milk Chocolate Heart Lollipop doubles as a delicious little treat and a great way to top-off Valentine’s Day gifts. All decked out with a big red bow, you'll love it for slipping into lunchboxes, handing out as party favors or biting into with childlike delight. I gave the one they sent to Josiah and his little face filled with delight at the sight of it! After all, what's not to love? (I asked him if he might like to save half of it for the next day, but he looked at me with a look close to "shock" and said, "No!" He thought he would rather eat it all at that moment, but he did agree to save half for the next day!)
  • Six Piece Mini Message Heart . . . with a word which is worth a thousand pictures, and sweet thoughts outside and even sweeter foil-wrapped GODIVA milk and dark chocolate hearts inside, Godiva's Mini Message Hearts also come hallmarked with sentiments of LOVE, HUG and SWEET. These little hearts make a very sweet Valentine's Day Gift!
So, if you are looking for a Valentine's Day gift, maybe one of these would be a good idea for someone on your gift list!

  2. I love the Japanese bells. My son wants to join karate and until we sign him up these would be a great little something until he reaches his goal. I will share with my friends on twitter.
