A Few Changes in How I Have Give-Aways . . .

My husband was trying to find out if there was a way for us to see all the names of people who have "liked" grandma's cookie jar on facebook when he discovered some surprising - at least to us - things. First of all, facebook may NOT be used to have give-aways using the names of people who "liked" a facebook page - such as grandma's cookie jar. It is also not acceptable for us to message someone who "liked" my blog using facebook. As you can see, I have to have a different way to hold the give-aways on grandma's cookie jar.

So, in place of "liking" grandma's cookie jar using the tab in the "find us on facebook" box ON THE BLOG, I am asking you to do the following - please "follow grandma's cookie jar by email" using the space ON THE BLOG to enter your email. This will allow me to contact winners by their emails!

Plus, for an additional entry, please "Follow with Google Friends Connect" by using the tab which says, "Join this site". I will also be able to give additional entries to give-aways if you "share", but need you to "share" ON THE BLOG and not on the facebook page.

I will be going back through my posts for the girl for all time, Matilda doll give-away so everyone who has shared so far will still receive their additional entries in this give-away. The same for the MOGO, Mirror Mirror, John Carter, You're a Hero book and Speedo Fabric Arm Bands give-aways.

I sincerely apologize for any confusion this causes, but I do want to abide by facebook's rules. Thank you for reading grandma's cookie jar!

  2. Thank you for asking, Nicole. If you follow by email, you will recieve a daily email to let you know about the posts of the day. I will be able to see your email and will ONLY use it to make a list from which I will draw winners in my give-aways and to notify you if you win any of my give-aways. I will NOT share or show the emails to anyone.
