Mission Museum Cardboard Game: The Case of the Missing Mummy
Discovery Bay Games
Ages 7+
for 2 or more players
Favorite Features -
- encourages problem solving, learning history and working together
- sturdy game - nice thick board, pieces and quality cards - this game will hold up to years of family game nights!
- families can work together to answer questions, solve puzzles and learn
Many of us will never visit the Smithsonian, so this game is a fun way to help us get a "glimpse" of some of the items in the museum and learn a little of the history behind them! I really like how the entire family can work together to help each other solve their puzzles! I think it would be extra fun to find a timeline of history and wherever possible, check to see what was happening in Bible times to show your grandchildren how God was working in the world!
I'm delighted to say not only did Discovery Bay Games send me one game to review, but they are making another available for me to give away (USA only)! If you would like to be included in this give-away - which will be on September 28, 2012 - please comment below to let me know if you have followed on Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab in the "Find us on Facebook" box ON THE BLOG (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email. For each of these which you have done you will receive one entry. In addition, if you "share" this post, you'll receive an additional entry (please let me know if you share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win this game and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away! Thank you for reading grandma's cookie jar and for sharing it with the people you know!
