Doesn't this recipe put you in the mood for Christmas?! :-) Well . . . as I mentioned above, I'm having another "grandma" contest! This time I'm asking you to share your favorite Christmas cookie recipe! Of course I'll be putting together a prize package for the winner - one item in the package will be one of these cook books! :-)

So, a few "rules" for this Christmas cookie recipe contest!
  • First, please be at least 18 years old if you share a recipe.
  • The recipe does not have to be original - just your favorite!
  • The first person who shares a recipe, will be the one entered - for example, if Spritz cookies are your favorite, unless your Spritz recipe is unique, the first person who shares a Spritz recipe will be the one included in the contest.
  • If I have a lot of recipes shared - and I'd love to have a lot of recipes shared - I'll divide them into groups so you can vote for your favorite recipe in each group and then have a final vote from among the cookies which win in each group. I hope this makes sense!
  • I'll accept Christmas cookie recipes through the 20th of October . . . so, please share your favorite Christmas cookie recipe by emailing your recipe to me at
And finally, as I also mentioned, I'm giving one Betty Crocker the big book fo cookies away (USA only)!  If you would like to be included in this give-away which will be on October 17, 2012 - please comment below to let me know if you have followed on Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab in the "Find us on Facebook" box ON THE BLOG (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email. For each of these which you have done you will receive one entry. In addition, if you "share" this post, you'll receive an additional entry (please let me know if you share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win this cookbook and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away!
