Countdown Cal - I'm Giving One Away!

Easter is just a touch over a month away and if you are looking for a fun . . . and tasty . . . way to help your grandchildren countdown to this day, then take a look at the Easter Countdown Calendar Game!  This colorful package adds a touch of fun to waiting as each day for the fifteen days before Easter children open a flap where they will find a crispy, chocolaty treat, a daily game and the number of days remaining until Easter!

This Countdown Cal is fun for several reasons . . .
  • Of course, the chocolaty treat . . . what isn't there to enjoy about a daily piece of chocolate? This chocolate is made in the USA, is OUD certified Kosher and is made by Palmer.
  • The colorful box with the daily flaps add a touch of Spring color and fun!
  • Encourages the concept of counting down/counting backwards and finding hidden objects.
Consider adding a short daily reading from the Gospels so children can focus on the real meaning of the season . . . the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. While chocolate eggs are enjoyable, what Jesus did brings real and lasting joy!

I'm happy to say not only did Countdown Cal send me a couple calendars to review, they are making another available for me to give away (USA only)! If you'd like to be in the drawing for an Easter Countdown Calendar Game, which will be on March 5, 2013,  please comment below to let me know if you have followed on Google+, Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab in the "Find us on Facebook" box ON THE BLOG (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email. For each of these which you have done you will receive one entry. In addition, if you "share" this post, you'll receive an additional entry (please let me know if you share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win a countdown calendar and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away! Thank you for reading grandma's cookie jar and for sharing it with the people you know!
