While I love popcorn, I have struggled to find a great way to fix it. I've tried hot air poppers . . . and they are okay, but leave the popcorn a bit "chewy". I've tried the old-style popper where you plug it in the wall, add a bit of oil and watch as it pops. This popcorn usually turns out pretty good. I've tried microwave poppers - some have definitely worked better than others.
I have tried microwave popcorn, but always have felt uncomfortable wondering what all was in those little bags with the popcorn. This, however; is no longer the case! As I browsed on Pinterest this morning I found the directions for making my own microwave popcorn! I can assure you paper lunch bags are absolutely on my shopping list and I plan to get them before the boys are here this weekend for a sleep-over! I love how easy this looks - and how I will absolutely be able to know what is in the bag . . . just popcorn!
Follow this link and you will find the simple directions for making your own microwave popcorn and get ready to snuggle up with your grandchildren, a movie and a big bowl of popcorn! Enjoy!
