Which Baby Blanket Should I Make?

I made this for my grandson - directions at this link
As I announced last month, this summer my family will be celebrating the arrival of another grandchild!!!! Of course I am a very happy grandma!!!

When we waited for Josiah and Caleb to arrive, I crocheted them each a blanket . . . the blanket with the sheep was for Josiah and the colorful squares with hippos was for Caleb . . . so of course I plan to make another blanket for this new little bundle of joy and sweetness!

**SO CUTE!!** Image detail for -Day at the Zoo Crochet Baby Afghan or Blanket by creeksendincSo far I've narrowed my next baby blanket to one of the following two patterns if the baby is a boy. Which do you think I should make? I like this animal faces blanket - I found on Pinterest - and I like the Noah's Ark blanket, too - which I also found on Pinterest.

  1. I think they are both adorable and would be awesome! The faces seems, to me, more in keeping with the other two you've done. If its a girl, you could always use pink to line the squares instead of blue....

  2. I love the animal faces one - so cute!

  3. Congrats! I love the animal in squares blanket, the green has a summery grass feel to it.

  4. The animal square blanket would be really cute.
