crafting with grandma - DIY Rocket Pack!!!

I don't know  about your house, but around my house I often have a "Super Hero" running around who "saves the day!" :-) My sweet Josiah is very much into "super heroes" and of course is, "Super Josiah"! He "saves the day" to the tune of his own "theme song" . . . "♪ Super Josiah is here to save the day! ♪ He can defeat any robot monster or space alien because Super Josiah is not afraid of anything!  Super Josiah is here to save the day!!!!" Of course, this is one of my favorite songs!!!! 【ツ】

The other day when Josiah . . . I mean, Super Josiah was here, he told me he was "impervious" to the "freeze" ray of the bad guys!!! He is four years old and yes, he knows how to use the word impervious and does so often! I of course, am VERY happy to have Super Josiah here when the giant, robot spiders show up - and am so very glad he is impervious to them and all other manner of bad guys, monsters, etc!!!

So, when I was browsing on Pinterest and saw a diy for making a rocket pack, I knew it was something I'd have to make for Super Josiah . . . and an extra one for his "side-kick" Super Caleb, too! Children's Day is just two months away, so I'm thinking these rocket packs will make great Children's Day surprises for two sweet boys . . . oh yes, two brave Super Heroes who visit my house each week!!!

Just follow this link and you'll find directions complete with a photo tutorial for how to make your own rocket pack for the Super Heroes at your house! Enjoy!
