International Forgiveness Day

Last Sunday was International Forgiveness Day . . . personally, I think every day, every moment should be forgiveness days. When we hold on to a hurt, offense or something which upset us, we not only hurt ourselves, but we hurt others because a spirit of unforgiveness is one of the most damaging thing to generations of a family. When a parent or grandparent is unforgiving, children see this example and become people who do not forgive continuing this pattern of pain for another generation.

If you have someone who you need to forgive, do it. Even if they do not change anything about the way they live, act and treat others, if you forgive you bring freedom and healing to your own life and this example is one which brings the same to your family.

Nothing is worth holding a grudge - the cost is just too high, so be a person who forgives. You will be glad you did and so will your family . . . for generations!
