just as grandma's cookie jar should always be full of good things, this blog will be full of good ideas, information, activities and reviews of things to help grandma . . . and grandpa, mom and dad too . . . pass on a heritage of faith to the children in their lives!
grandma's chuckles . . . Caleb the "Destroyer"; or NOT!!!
My grandsons, Josiah and Caleb, spent several days and nights at my house over Christmas break; we had such a wonderful time! At one point Caleb was playing and he pointed to a toy and said, "Destroy the car!" He pointed at another toy and said, "Destroy the ball!" This went on until he pointed at me and said, "Destroy the grandma!" Then, he got a shocked look on his face, ran to me, climbed into my lap, snuggled and said, "Do NOT destroy the grandma! NEVER destroy the grandma! I will NEVER destroy the grandma!" Apparently, when you are a two year old boy and are playing "destroy", you can get carried away with the "destroying" and say you want to destroy something . . . or someone . . . who you will NEVER, EVER destroy! Of course, this left me laughing and very happy for the opportunity to snuggle my extremely sweet destroyer, Caleb! I LOVE being grandma!!! So, what is one of the cute things your grandchildren have said or done recently?
