said some really excellent things; things worth thinking about for sure! Since March is Dr. Seuss Month, it seems like a good time to stop and think about some of these quotes!
So . . . my Dr. Seuss quotes for today are . . .
- “A person's a person, no matter how small.”
― Dr. Seuss, Horton Hears a Who! - “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better. It's not.”
― Dr. Seuss, The Lorax - “I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!”
― Dr. Seuss - “From there to here, from here to there, funny things are everywhere!”
― Dr. Seuss, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish - “Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.”
― Dr. Seuss
Dr. Seuss certainly had a way with words and some great common sense! So . . . which of these sayings is your favorite? I really love, "A person's a person, no matter how small." This is something I want my grandsons to know for themselves and for others. Since I had babies I was not able to carry to term and I'm pro-life, this saying has extra meaning for me - even if Dr. Seuss wasn't thinking about this when he wrote it.
I also have to say I really think all of these sayings are great things to think and talk about with grandchildren to help them understand they can make a difference; even if they are still children!
So, which saying do you like the best?
