Spring Gift Review & Giveaway - NIV Personal Size Large Print Reference Bible

My sister and I are both so blessed to have one of our grandma's Bibles. In them she underlined verses which mattered to her and left little notes and even clippings from papers with things which encouraged her in her life. These Bibles are amazing gifts; treasures with which our grandma is still able to hand down faith long after she entered Heaven.

Today I'd like to encourage you to consider a simple way you are able to continue to hand down the faith - after your life on Earth is over; just get a couple Bibles and underline your favorite verses in them. Jot a few notes in the margins. Make these Bibles tangible things from which you are able to "speak" when you are gone. Then, leave them for your grandchildren/children and tuck in a personal note as well. Whether you have much or little to leave when you are gone, these Bibles will be something the ones who receive them will truly treasure.

And, today I'm very happy to recommend a Bible you could use for just this thing. Zondervan sent me one of their new NIV Personal Size Reference Bible for review and share my opinion of it with you - and I'm happy to say they are making another available for me to give away.

Zondervan says; "Let Scripture explain Scripture. The NIV Personal Size Reference Bible provides a clear, smooth, and easy reading experience for readers of all ages. Expertly designed for the New International Version (NIV) text, Zondervan NIV Comfort Print® typeface delivers a smooth reading experience which complements the most widely read contemporary-English Bible translation."

I think this NIV Personal Size Reference Bible is not only beautifully designed with a variety of covers, but the size and text are very comfortable and usable and the end of paragraph references and red letters combine wonderfully with the NIV version to make it so easy to understand. Plus, I LOVE the pages at the back of the Bible for "Notes". Use these to jot points from sermons which stand out to you, quotes which encourage your own walk or whatever you want to leave as a message to the one who inherits your Bible.

The NIV Personal Size Reference Bible is a wonderful item to give as a gift to the mom or grandma you love on Mother's Day or the dad or grandpa you love on Father's Day. Even if they already have a Bible they have used for years - and they likely do - give them one of these and ask them to underline their favorite verses and leave notes in it for their children and/or grandchildren as a truly valuable inheritance. You will be giving a gift to bless the one who receives it now - and throughout the generations.

I am so happy to say, as I mentioned above, not only did Zondervan send me one of their NIV Personal Size Reference Bible for review, but they are making another available for me to give away (USA only).
