Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park says, "See a variety of bonsai on display, from trees in the early stages of training to lovely older trees in our Fall Bonsai Show on October 7 & 8. Watch bonsai artists at work and shop for bonsai trees, bonsai tools, and supplies. This complimentary plant show will take place inside throughout the classrooms in our Covenant Learning Center. Afterward, be sure to head outside to the Richard & Helen DeVos Japanese Garden to experience our permanent bonsai collection Saturday, October 7 | 10 am–5 pm and Sunday, October 8 | 11 am–5 pm"
I have been looking forward to this for the past month and now it is just over a week away - and it looks like the weather here in West Michigan is going to cooperate as well! So, if you live in this area - or will be visiting - make plans to come to the Fall Bonsai Show - you will be so glad you did.
