just as grandma's cookie jar should always be full of good things, this blog will be full of good ideas, information, activities and reviews of things to help grandma . . . and grandpa, mom and dad too . . . pass on a heritage of faith to the children in their lives!
Now 2024 has ended and 2025 is beginning, if you are looking for a few fun craft ideas which you can enjoy with the children you love, take a look at these ideas I found on Pinterest . . .
This Handprint Poem craft is really simple - you just need a printer, paper, scissors, glue, crayons and and fun stickers, glitter, etc you want to add. If you make this craft with your grandchildren, help them think of specific "good things" they can do with their hands and then plan with them to do some of them to brighten the day of people they know! Share with them Colossians 3:17, "Whatever you say or do should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks to God the Father because of him."
Work together to make a 2025 Time Capsule Jar and as you go through this coming year, fill it with things which will remind them of 2025. As you work on this talk together about the things they learned throughout the year and be sure to spend time talking with God to thank Him for how He held you all in His hands through difficult and good times!
I especially like this Door Hanger craft as you can print it out and then help your grandchildren think about the specific things they can do to grow closer to Jesus in 2025! Work together to find a Bible verse to put on their door hangers which they can learn and think about all year!
