Tomorrow is World Gratitude Day - and regardless of the difficult things we may be facing, or the frustrating things, we still have much for which to be thankful and when we are, we make our day - and the day of all around us - better!
Nationaltoday (dot) com says the point of this day is; "to remind us of the importance of expressing gestures of thanks and appreciation. Understandably, sometimes we can get caught up in our busy lives and neglect to show how grateful we are for the people around us. Many people believe once you commit a simple act of kindness for someone, you don’t need to manifest this kind of kindness repeatedly. But if you do, it makes the world a better place. After all, it’s your world, and you have to live in it!"
And, being grateful and thankful benefits our health - look at this . . .
- Reduces depression
- Contributes to heart health
- Improves sleep
