"I Do NOT Like That Song!!!"

I know, it isn't even  Thanksgiving yet, but Christmas really is just around the corner, so I am thinking about it. This "thinking about it" has me delighting in the memory of a certain song and the fantastic response of my grands to it! 

Several years ago, on Thanksgiving, my grands spent the night - fun time to have a sleep-over! Well, the next morning we were talking about Christmas and how real reindeer do not fly when my husband mentioned the song, "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer", so I sang a line of it. My then four-year-old grand said . . . with great passion; "I do NOT like that song!!!" Then he came and gave me a big hug!

I was very happy to know my sweet grand would not "approve" if a reindeer ran over me . . . and did not even like a song which mentioned the possibility!!!

This grandma has a very happy heart to know my sweet, rascal is also my sweet "protector"! I have ever so much to be thankful for, and I most certainly am extremely thankful!
